Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College of Arts and Science have planned to start Wavoo Wajeeha Startup Cell in collaboration with NGI, Coimbatore and with the support of NSTEDB, DST, Government of India, NEW Delhiby this Academic year 2021. The inauguration of the WWSC was held on 15th September 2021 in coordination with IQAC and Entrepreneurial Development Cell (ED Cell).The aim of WWSC is to support technology based entrepreneurship and thereby aid practical application of knowledge for public use and to provide support and training for students and innovators who are interested in converting their social ideas into social startups.

To create a result driven environment for stimulating growth in business and economic development in the women society through incubation.

MISSION

To create entrepreneurial spirit and innovation promotion among the students and the local community for the successful development of new business and employment generation in specific sectors that are aligned with the unique opportunity of this region.

OBJECTIVES

• Introduce and / or strengthen entrepreneurship education on campus and to build an entrepreneurship ecosystem in Institution.
• Provide students with the opportunity to become entrepreneurially skilled and inspired to be entrepreneurs.
• Enable aspiring graduating students who start meaningful ventures by connecting them to mentoring platform and related entrepreneur support systems.
